Mango season is here, and we’re super excited! After all, the ‘king of fruits’ can enhance the taste of smoothies, salads, shakes and the best of all—desserts. Yes ladies, just the thought of digging into that mango pudding or cheesecake is making us super hungry. But how can we indulge without any guilt, when these sweet treats are loaded with calories? Well, celebrity nutritionist Pooja Makhija has the perfect solution for you.

In her recent Instagram post, she has shared the recipe of a mango cheesecake that’s equal parts healthy and delicious. You heard it right—plus, it looks so droolworthy! 

Here’s what she wrote, “I  am telling you this is the best, healthiest dessert I’ve ever made! And it was soooooo good! (I swear even normal people will love — I’m apparently considered abnormal to most)”.

So, are you ready to try out this cheesecake?

Here’s what you need:
Ingredients:

2 cups hung curd
1 tsp organic stevia powder
¼ tsp vanilla extract

1 mango, cubed or sliced
A handful of cherries

5-6 halves walnuts

Method:
  1. In a bowl, add hung curd, natural organic stevia powder and vanilla extract.
    2. Whisk well till super smooth. 
  2. Line a bowl with baking paper. Pour in half the whisked curd. 
  3. Add the cubed or sliced mangoes
  4. Add the other half of the hung curd to form the bottom layer. 
  5. Pit the cherries using a chopstick. 
  6. Crush the walnuts by hand to add a side layer. 
  7. Refrigerate overnight before adding toppings, and then serve! 

Voila, your cheesecake is now ready to bite into! You can totally treat your friends and family to this amazing sweet treat. Trust us, they are going to love you!
