Chia seeds are one of the healthiest foods, but too much of anything can be dangerous for your health. Here are the side effects of chia seeds if you eat them in excess.

Digestive Problems

Eating too many chia seeds can lead to excessive fibre intake, which can lead to digestive issues such as bloating, stomach ache, constipation, gas, or diarrhoea. It can be worse for people with irritable bowel disease and Crohn's disease.

Low Blood Pressure

While this is rare, eating too many chia seeds can cause a rapid rise in omega-3s in your system, which can cause your blood to thin out and cause low blood pressure.

Changes In Blood Sugar Levels
