While sprouts are safe to consume and healthy, their high fibre and protein content can make them a bit hard to digest. This may lead to digestive problems, such as diarrhoea. Moreover, consuming raw and uncooked sprouts can make you susceptible to bacteria and infections like E. coli.
Always boil and cook sprouts with spices such as black pepper, cinnamon, etc. to make them easy to digest. You may also add vegetables and even some fruits. Always avoid eating sprouts if they are slimy, which means they are spoiled.
