If you live in the National Capital Region, or anywhere in North India really, then congratulations: aapko severely hazardous air quality mubarak ho. While the rest of India sighs a deep breath, knowing that they are far away from the clutches of PM 2.5 and PM 10–you are living amidst a public health emergency. Probably with an air-purifying mask constantly ruining your makeup. 

All jokes apart, each winter the region reports an AQI (air quality index) worse than the time before–and this year is no different.
