Being inflicted with Covid-19 isn’t an opportunity to finish off your favourite Netflix series. Instead, it’s time to take as much rest as you can; otherwise the repercussions can be severe.

This one is dedicated to those who are infected with Covid-19, but are still not ready to rest it out. Mostly, asymptomatic patients are to be blamed, because for them, no symptom means no problem. But they don’t understand how this virus damages you inside out, and shows its true colours with time.

Here’s what happens to your body if you don’t take proper rest during Covid-19

From doctors to health agencies like Ministry of Ayush, everyone has been emphasising on the importance of ample rest to defeat this virus. Even in the latest guidelines issued by the Ayush ministry, it has been mentioned that sleeping for 7 to 8 hours is something every Covid-19 patient, MUST follow.

But there are some of us, who ignore this, because of our hectic jobs pr otherwise. Unfortunately, people don’t realize that the worst can happen in the long run.

Here are a few things that can happen to your body if you abstain from rest

  • Fatigue
  • Loss of stamina
  • Pain in eyes
  • Constant headache
  • Pain in muscles and joints

Don’t think that you will get these after-effects, only if you have severe symptoms of Covid-19. That’s because even people with mild symptoms have reported the above post-Covid-19 side-effects.

The major reason behind these after-effects of coronavirus is not taking enough rest. Another could be not eating a clean diet, not staying hydrated, not taking enough precautions, and too much screen time.
