Treatment depends on the cause and severity. Sometimes, adjusting medications or addressing underlying conditions may resolve the issue. In cases where bradycardia causes significant symptoms or poses a risk of complications, a pacemaker may be recommended to maintain a steady heartbeat. Advances in cardiac technology have made pacing therapies safer and more patient-friendly. Leadless pacemakers, for instance, are miniature devices implanted directly into the heart through a minimally invasive procedure. By eliminating traditional leads and surgical pockets, they reduce certain risks and improve comfort for eligible patients.
