The actress says, “I am proud to be from the birthplace of yoga, India. Happy Independence Day, everyone, and at the risk of sounding cliched, I still very much believe that yoga has given me freedom.”

She added, “Who thought that a strongly rooted practice in Indian culture would add so much value to life? WE DID. This is why, today, I am here again to tell you to #juststart. Just start with your practice, start with a group or start alone. You owe it to yourself to take care of your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.”
