Rudra Mudra

This mudra is a specific hand gesture helps enhance digestion, balance energy, improve mental health and detoxify your body naturally, all of which helps in weight loss. To perform this mudra, start by sitting comfortably with your spine erect and shoulders relaxed. Sit cross-legged on the floor or a chair with your feet flat on the ground. Place your hands on your lap with palms facing upwards. Bring the tip of your index finger and ring finger to the tip of your thumb, keeping the middle and little fingers engaged and relaxed. According to Ayurveda, out of the three temperaments of the body, including Vayu, Kapha and Pitta, Kapha represents earth. Too much of Kapha could mean excess weight in the body. Performing Kapha-Nashak Mudra can help remove the excess of this element and restore its balance, which will help boost metabolic activity and lose weight. Sit comfortably with your eyes closed. Together with the thumb, bend the little and ring fingers in the direction of the palm. Apply pressure for as long as it feels comfortable, and stay in this posture.
