Best for baby's skin: Coconut oil is a great moisturizer for children, and it can be used to massage their body. Virgin coconut oil is applied to the skin of premature newborns tostrengthen and enhance their skin. As a massage oil and moisturizer, it functions similarly for both infants and older babies. Heal cracked heels: Cracked heels may be very uncomfortable. They can occur when the skin around the base of your heel get excessively dry and hard. You can use coconut oil to curecracked heels. For better results, one can massage coconut oil onto the heel. Prevents stretch marks: During pregnancy, coconut oil is one of the best 'nuskhas' for preventing stretch marks. Due to its anti-inflammatory qualities, coconut oil may speed up the healing process for stretch marks. Its capacity to deeply moisturize skin also helps in reducing stretch mark itching. You just have to simply apply a spoonful of coconut oil to the stretch marks and massage it till it gets absorbed.
