While mothers are often shamed for opting for a C-section delivery, sometimes a woman gotta do what she has to do. Here’s a list of 5 Bollywood moms who showed the world that C-section is also a ‘normal delivery’.

Lovingly called Bebo, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the real Begum Sahiba of Bollywood. Her pregnancies have always been under a lot of public scrutiny. And Bebo did best what she’s knownfor–being unbothered by the judgments. Kareena has been quite vocal about her pregnancy and birthing experience in her book, Pregnancy Bible. The actress has revealed in an interview that she underwent two miscarriages before giving birth to Nysa and Yug. The delicate diva of Bollywood, Amrita Rao is best known for her portrayal of a small town girl in the movie Vivah. In November 2020, Amrita and husband RJ Anmol had a planned C-section and welcomed their first child, Veer. However, the couple revealed in a YouTube video that they wished to expand their family and considered surrogacy. In an unfortunate turn of events, their surrogate conceived, but they lost the baby.
