As we enjoy the holiday season and progress towards the New year, the actress shares her own mindful New Year resolution, especially for the ladies! She shared an Instagram video, and spoke from her heart about the lack of appreciation women deal with. She explained how women wait for little words of appreciation, admiration and gratitude that may never actually come their way.
She said, “The problem we women face is that nobody appreciates us often. If we cook awesome food, work fine, act well, nobody says those words of gratitude and thankfulness that we expect from them. I never hear words like, ‘’Very good, Neena ji! You did good!’”
Rolling out tips on how to deal with this empty feeling of lack of appreciation, Neena says, “I have made this New Year resolution for the upcoming year. In such a case, it is better to raise your hand and pat your own back and say ‘Well done’ to yourself. This way you will appreciate yourself, enjoy it and not wait for anybody to shower you with appreciation”
