We all love how honest and real Kriti Sanon is! The bubbly actress has left us awestruck with her on-screen performances and much to the delight of her fans, she is pretty active on social media. And if there’s one thing that you can notice in her posts, it is that Kriti is all about personal growth.

For the year 2021, she’s decided on a very special resolution that she says is “her kind of meditation.” She took to Instagram recently and revealed that she wants to make journaling a habit this year. The reason is pretty simple: decluttering the mind!

The caption of her post talks about emotional health and how much we often tend to ignore it. Kriti writes: “Humans are often conditioned to suppress emotions. Showing vulnerability, sadness, fear, anger, frustration, insecurity is considered a sign of weakness.” It isn’t far from the truth that most of us don’t talk about our feelings because of the fear of coming across as weak.

The actress points out that “…as kids, we cry loudly, we scream, laugh on innocent things, speak without thinking. We keep it simple. But as we grow up, we learn to ‘behave’ and mask. We feel something, we say something else. And I feel that’s kinda messed up.”

So, Kriti has decided to keep a track of her thoughts and emotions. She revealed that even though she doesn’t usually come up with New Year’s resolutions, this year is different because she’s choosing to express her emotions.

With this post, she’s definitely inspired her fans to take care of their emotional health too! The past year has proven that we need to take care of our emotional health just as much as we need to work on our physical health.
