There’s nothing more important than consent and communication if it’s your first or nth time. Since it’s a new experience, you are bound to have a million thoughts and fears in your head, but that’s when you need to take the leap and speak with your partner. Be open about what you feel. Whatever is happening must happen with enthusiastic consent from everyone.
Dr Cuterus says that it is quite normal to be anxious, but again having clear communication with your partner is of utmost importance. This is not a theatre performance, and one doesn’t need five stars at all. It’s all about having fun!
