Mention sex, and your mind will conjure up images of pleasure that will make you all excited! But we all know foreplay is an integral aspect that cannot be ignored. Stimulating certain erogenous zones can really get things going, right? And for most of us, there exist only a few, say the breasts, armpits, buttocks and the genitals. But let’s tell you something that you didn’t know — according to the Kama Sutra, every part of your body is an erogenous zone, for both men and women. It just depends on how you treat it.

This was revealed by Kama Sutra expert, author, mythologist, and storyteller Seema Anand in her recent Instagram video. Here’s what she wrote, “Don’t limit your pleasure. Don’t fall into a rut. Don’t let monotony kill your passion. Try my tips and turn everyday into ‘fireworks day’. Breaking taboos, shattering stereotypes, owning your own pleasure, every day, in every way.”

Tips for pleasure

Anand shares some useful tips that are sure to drive you crazy with pleasure. Let’s not wait anymore! Before she spills these secrets, she mentions that pleasure begins in the head and manifests in the body, and we couldn’t agree more!

Begin with imagining a part of your body that you wouldn’t associate with pleasure, say your elbows;

  1. Close your eyes and breathe into it; become aware of that part of your body
  2. Touch it very lightly with the tips of your fingers or graze it with the edge of your nail. Sensitise it
  3. Imagine someone kissing you there, passionately, excitedly and repeatedly, as if it was the centre of all pleasure
  4. Rub it with perfume; make it feel special
  5. Massage it with cream, and make it feel desirable.

The bottom line

Every part of your body is a pleasure zone; it just depends on how you treat it. When you indulge in self-pleasure and stimulate certain parts of your body; you also understand your body better and what you enjoy. This can also help when you are having sex with your partner.

The more you know your body, the more easily you will be able to communicate with them. That means a steamy session is definitely on the cards!
