But, the past generations never really received quality sex education. No one ever told us the key things about sex which would have made a huge difference. Hence, we thought that we should take the first step and reveal some of the most exciting facts about sex that might help those for whom it is still a subject shrouded in mystery and myths.

This is probably the most common method used by those who practice safe sex. But, do you know that even the lubrication mucus can have sperm in it? This can lead to unwanted pregnancy and if your partner has an infection then it can be transferred to you as well. So, don’t think that it’s foolproof.

Even Dr Anju Hajari, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, Surya Hospitals agrees on this.

7. Peeing after sex has many health benefits

“Basically, the bacteria travel from the urethra to the bladder and if not taken into consideration, it can reach the kidneys and lead to renal failure. When you pee after sex, there are chances of the bacteria getting flushed out with the urine”, explains obstetrician and gynaecologist, Dr Manisha Ranjan from Motherhood Hospital, Noida.
