Life is all about making hundreds of choices every single day, but let me add another one, and make it 101. Do you prefer to wear underwear to bed or simply toss it off before getting into your PJs shorts/ boxers? Or is it that you prefer going buff at bedtime? Mind you, your answer will decide the course of action that you are about to undertake.
For all the vagina owners, let’s face facts. We love our lacy satin underwear, thongs, and bikinis that come in all colours and styles. But the truth is, you MUST break up with these loved ones, when you’re ready to hit the sack.
Oh yes! Please avoid wearing underwear to bed. First things first, after a long day of keeping your lady bits packed in underwear, you’ve got to let it air out. Hence, toss it off.
Airing is essential because the vagina is a warm area of your body and considering the hot country that we live in, it adds to the moisture because of sweat and regular discharge. This creates a party zone for all kinds of bacteria, making it the perfect environment for the onset of yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis.
Another delicate area that is prone to inflammation is the vulva. Since it has many folds within itself, any moisture that is trapped can lead to itching or burning, and this can get extremely uncomfortable. A couple of hours of going underwear free not only helps keep your vulva-vagina area dry, but the regular airing keeps it healthy and happy.
Choose a cotton underwear that is airy and let’s your skin breathe. Synthetic materials or panties that are embellished with lace are a big no-no. Their job is to keep things sexy in the bedroom department, but they cannot be your sleeping companions.
Sleepwear should be loose, comfortable, and minimal (depending on your surroundings and comfort level). A lot of women prefer to wear underwear to bed during their periods. That seems to be reasonable enough, as it forms a barrier between you and the sheets, in case of any leaks. Lastly, going underwear-free is such a sexy way to tease your partner. So, go ahead and give it a shot.

Most guys have established that boxers were the greatest invention in the world of underwear. They are mostly made of cotton, comfortable and oh-so- breathable. But your partner must stay away from the ones that are mixed with low quality materials like polyester.
The rules are the same here as well; just that their boxers don’t have an intricate design down there like women’s panties. Studies suggest that wearing tight underwear throughout the day and night can hamper your partner’s semen quality. Now that’s an eye-popping revelation!
This is due to the excessive heat in the groin area and the testicles being put under extreme temperatures. It is imperative for your partner to get rid of his underwear, if they are looking for good intimate hygiene that is itch-free and bacteria-free.
To sum it up, let your down unders be free. The lockdown situation should not apply to them when going to bed. In fact, a lot of men and women like to sleep naked too. No! That does not make you a weirdo, it’s a sign that you are comfortable in your naked body.
Make sure you maintain good intimate hygiene if you like all things buff. An intimate wash or an intimate wipe are your must haves. But above all, you should be comfortable. Ladies, we all love to toss our bra off before bedtime and declare ‘independence’, so why not go a step ahead and take off those panties too?
