1. Choose the right undergarments

It is crucial to pay attention to your vaginal health in winter. Most people think that polyester clothes will keep your body warm and tight clothes would not let cold air inside the body, but that’s not it! Tight clothing can restrict air movement and create moisture around the vaginal area. Too much moisture can lead to the growth of bacteria and yeast as the vagina does not get enough space to breathe. It is best to choose clothes that leave some room for air around the vaginal area. If possible, sleep without your underwear on to avoid infections.

3. Avoid perfumed bath products

Not just bath products, it is recommended to avoid using scented beauty products. Scented bath products can disrupt the pH balance of the vagina, which can affect overall vaginal health and cause itching. You can put a few drops of essential oil in the bathtub as it may reduce the risk. You can also apply a mild essential oil to the vagina.

In fact, dark chocolate is healthy for you if eaten in moderation.

So, bid vaginal dryness and infections adieu this winter with these simple yet effective tips. Don’t forget to check with your doctor first!
