Developing a good sleep schedule and following a healthy sleep hygiene practice will take you a long way in building a successful, healthy life. The expert suggests that you should always try to maintain a fairly regular sleep-wake cycle to wake up feeling healthy and fresh. Here are some tips to improve sleep!
Our expert says, “Avoid being on gadgets till too late into the night. Instead read or listen to some light music so that you can relax and unwind and get good quality sleep”. The blue light from the gadgets keeps us awake till late and also decreases the secretion of melatonin, the sleep hormone.
“Line up things you would look forward to during the course of the day,” suggests the expert. Making a list of to-do things would make you feel empowered and motivated for the coming day, and you will tend to sleep in a light mood knowing that you have an orderly plan for the next day.
Having a healthy morning routine is non-negotiable so that it sets the mood and good intentions for the entire day. You can try yoga/meditation, even for 15 minutes, or you may consider having some fitness regime in the morning that would invigorate and energize you. Come what may, but stick to that routine to see the best results in the longer run.

“Try and solve for the challenges you may perceive may be coming up in advance. Having some sort of a plan in place is helpful,” reckons our expert. When you solve tedious tasks first thing in the morning, you will end up feeling motivated and empowered, and held in a place mentally.
The most beloved button on our alarm clock does more harm than good when it comes to trying how to wake up energized. If you spend the last half an hour of your sleep in “fragmented sleep” can have grave consequences on your ability to function through the day. Try the 90-min sleep cycle hack by setting the alarm 90 minutes before your waking time and an alarm when you want to wake up.
