1. Malai to combat dry skin
Dry and dull skin is common during the winter season. However, the use of milk cream may prove beneficial for you. It contains lactic acid, which hydrates the skin and makes it look soft and supple, as per a study published in the journal Molecules. To combat dry skin, mix 1 teaspoon of cream and half a teaspoon of honey in a bowl. Apply it on your skin and massage well. Let it sit for 20 minutes before washing it off with normal water.
2. Malai for deep cleansing
Did you know Malai is a good cleanser for your skin? It opens up the pores and cleans the dirt on the skin, thanks to the vitamins and proteins it contains. For this, take a tablespoon of cream in a bowl, and squeeze a lemon in it. Apply the paste on the skin using a cotton pad. Massage it on your face for 5 minutes and rinse. Do this thrice a week for effective results.
3. Malai to remove dead skin cells
Are you looking for ways to remove dead skin cells? You can add Malai to your skincare regimen. Studies have found that it contains lactic acid, which helps remove dead skin cells. Exfoliating with milk cream can give you soft and beautiful skin. Mix some cream with oats in a bowl. Exfoliate your skin using the mixture and massage well for about 5 minutes. You can also apply this paste on dark areas like elbows, knees, etc. Do this twice a week to see results.
4. Malai for skin elasticity
A decline in skin elasticity can lead to wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of ageing. Malai contains lactic acid, proteins, and vitamins that help maintain skin elasticity for longer. Take a tablespoon of cream in a bowl and add a pinch of turmeric to it. Mix it well and apply it on the face. Massage it gently for a few minutes. Leave it for 20 minutes, and wash it using lukewarm water. The properties of turmeric combined with Malai will work wonders for your skin.
5. Malai for skin tanning
Prolonged exposure to the Sun’s harmful rays can lead to skin tanning and sun damage. Malai might help you tackle the problem. Applying it on the skin can have a cooling effect that helps deal with sunburn. If you have skin tanning, mix one spoon of Malai and half a spoon of gram flour (Besan) in a bowl. Take a handful of the paste and massage it on your face. Clean your face using normal water after 20 minutes.
Caution: While these are natural ingredients that won’t harm you, you should still do a patch test before applying them on the face to avoid allergies and other skin problems.
