All the girls and boys go gaga over a sharp jawline these days. A chiseled and a razor sharp jawline is considered one of the most attractive physical attributes. Though we are all for inner beauty, we can’t blame you for still wanting to have that perfect jawline. Well, if it increases your confidence in yourself, then why not!

Double chin is the extra fat that accumulates between your chin and your throat to give an appearance of two chins. This can make your face look a little chubby and hence the want to get rid of it.

Though decreasing your overall body weight and staying fit is the ultimate way to  make your double chin go away. But if you specifically want to focus on that area to give it a little more edge, here are some easy and simple exercises that can be performed anywhere and anytime without any equipment.

Next time you are in front of a TV and sitting idle, mix it up with these exercises to get rid of your double chin:

1. Saying Qs and Xs

For this exercise, you have to move your neck forward and backwards like a pecking bird. While going forward you say “Q” and enunciate it as much as you can and while going back you say “X” so that your teeth are bared. Doing this for 1 minute at a stretch will make you feel the strain on your double chin. Repeat this for 5-6 times in a day.

2. Straight jaw jut

This is a simple exercise that requires you to put your head up so that you are face to face with the ceiling. Once in that position, you need to stretch your lower jaw forward like you would when grinding your teeth. Hold that position for 10 seconds and then relax. Repeat this for 1 minute.

 

3. Pecking

Well, as crazy as that sounds, kissing or pecking can help you get rid of your double chin. When you pout your lips for a peck that stretches the muscles in your face and engages them. So, if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, shower them with love, otherwise kiss the air as much as you can without looking like a weirdo!

4. Tongue stretch

For this exercise all you need to do is channel your inner chameleon. You need to look ahead and stretch your tongue as far as you can. Push your tongue upwards towards your nose and hold it for 10 seconds. Repeat this exercise for 2-3 minutes in a day.

5. Smile

Now, doesn’t that sound simple. Smile as much as you can as this is one of the best exercises to get that perfect jawline. To feel its effects smile as big as you can and this will give you face muscles a good exercise.
