1. Balance out your hormones with flaxseeds
While adding flaxseeds in your diet help suppress your appetite and prevents overeating, they are also great for your body when it comes to proper hormone production.

These seeds are a great source of phytoestrogens. It especially contains a kind of phytoestrogen called lignans which have both oestrogenic and antiestrogenic impact. It is also a very good source of omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and antioxidants. Have it with oatmeal, dalia, or curd to reap its benefits.

2. Trust the power of haldi!
Our traditional kitchen ingredient haldi or turmeric has always been a good remedy to treat inflammation. While it’s known for its healing properties, its active ingredient–curcumin, helps in imitating the activity of oestrogen in the body. This herb also helps with period cramps.

3. Nuts can help regulate your hormone-producing glands
Nuts are replete with nutrients. Almonds, in particular, showed the greatest estrogenic activity according to a study published in PubMed. Almonds impact our endocrine system which regulates the major glands of our body–pituitary gland, pancreas, ovaries, thyroid gland, etc.

4. Antioxidant-rich pomegranate is here to rescue you 
If your body is producing oestrogen in excess quantity then pomegranates can restore its balance.

Pomegranate contains a natural agent that can inhibit the enzyme in women’s bodies that convert estrone into estradiol and could play a role in the origin of hormone-dependent cancers. So, prevention of cancer might also be up for grab for you. The lignans found in the seeds destroy the cancer cells that are estrogen-dependent.
