What are the risk factors associated with wheatgrass?

Wheatgrass is considered to be a healthy ingredient but it may have some side effects you need to be aware of, especially if you drink it in excess. If you’re sensitive to wheat or have allergy issues, you might even experience some serious allergic reactions including hives and swelling of the throat.

Some other side-effects of it include nausea, headache, and constipation. In some cases, it is consumed raw and could be contaminated with bacteria.
