As mentioned earlier, Popeye got it right! Including green leafy vegetables, with immense vitamin A, will directly strengthen your muscles. It won’t immediately flex like Popeye’s, but gradually increase your stamina and you will feel stronger with time.
Eggs contain a multitude of vitamins and nutrients like proteins which help in muscle strengthening. Furthermore, the increased amount of Vitamin D is helpful to the body as it helps break down the food faster and disseminate the energy faster!
Indian households usually opt for atta or rice for meals. Well, being in India turns out to be a lucky thing for once! With the wide variety of grains such as bajra, ragi, jowar, etc, available, all are very efficient in providing sustained energy to the body without adding much to the trans fat component, mixing them together with your regular atta, for regular meals, could do wonders!

If you find yourself going bananas with all that pending work, and very little energy, go eat a banana. Bananas are filled with lots of fiber and vitamins such as B-6, and most importantly potassium which increases muscle strength and gives energy to the body in a very sustained manner.
Learning from the wild, have you noticed how the most enthusiastic of all animals, the squirrels nibble on nuts and seeds and how they are able to run about with a lot more energy than before. Seeds and nuts are filled with proteins and fiber and are low in sodium.
