Well, look no further, here’s a recipe of a magical health concoction with benefits that’ll make you want to stick to it for a long, long time:


  • 1 litre water
  • 4 to 5 tinospora (giloy) stems
  • 1 tsp ground kachi haldi (turmeric root)
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 7-8 tulsi leaves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Black pepper
  • 3-4 cardamom cloves
  • Honey (to taste)


  1. In a pan, heat the water and add giloy, turmeric, ginger, tulsi leaves, cinnamon powder, and cardamom cloves.
  2. Let the mixture come to a boil seven to eight times. Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool.
  3. Once it’s cold enough to handle, pass it through a sieve and into an air-tight container. 
  4. Store it in the refrigerator. To consume, heat it up, add some honey, and top it up with a pinch of black pepper.
