Here are all the ingredients you’ll need to make Yasmin’s version of coffee cookies:

1 egg yolk

1 tbsp peanut butter

2 tbsp jaggery syrup

1 tbsp cacao powder

chocolate chips

Here’s how you can prepare it:

Step 1: Take a bowl and add egg yolk, peanut butter, and jaggery syrup. Mix all the ingredients well.

Note: You can add maple syrup as well.

Step 2: Now, add cocoa powder and mix it up.

Step 3: Drop the cookie dough balls, forming it into the shape of a cookie, and put it on a baking sheet.

Step 4: Add chocolate chips to it, and bake for five minutes.

Step 5: Place on a platter and serve.

Now, enjoy!

Here’s why the coffee cookie is a healthy sweet treat:
  1. Coffee is packed with nutrients like vitamins B2, B5, BE, magnesium and potassium. These are all the nutrients that are necessary for efficient functioning of the body.
  2. Coffee helps to break down fat, protein, and carbohydrates, and the caffeine in coffee can also help with fat loss.
  3. Yasmin used jaggery syrup, which is far healthier than refined sugar. As we already know, jaggery is loaded with antioxidants and minerals like zinc and selenium, which help to prevent damage caused by free radicals.
  4. In fact, these coffee cookies can help you burn fat.
  5. Caffeine has the power to boost your brainpower.
  6. Coffee is also known to uplift your mood, especially if you’re sleep-deprived.
