I’m someone who runs far away from anything that’s healthy. No, I am not kidding. My weight has increased considerably, ever since I stopped venturing out during this lockdown. But my dear mother has been concerned, and she’s been trying to help me get back on track to a healthy lifestyle.
The first thing she did was to swap all my unhealthy snacks with healthy snacking options. On one pleasant evening, she served me piping hot oats appam, and I kept finding reasons to avoid eating it. I hate oats because of its bland taste, and weird texture. But the moment I took the first bite, I was sold. And trust me, I am now a fan for life.
