Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh is a fitness inspiration for many, with her toned body and glowing skin. However, it’s not easy to maintain a physique like hers. As they say, abs are made in the kitchen. This beauty believes in it too. Recently, we got hold of her post workout smoothie recipe that also doubles up as her breakfast.

Not to forget, Rakul Preet’s workout routine is a tough one. She is believed to hit the gym the entire week for cardio, kickboxing, weight training and yoga. Such exhaustive and grueling sessions call for an energy topping post-workout drink too.

Recently, Rakul Preet’s nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal unveiled the secret recipe of her post workout protein smoothie. It is a simple drink with local ingredients, nothing fancy and can be made in a jiffy.

She captioned her recipe video, “Want to know what Rakul Preet has for breakfast? Check out this recipe that serves as her post workout meal as well as her breakfast. Do try this out and let me know.”

Can’t wait? Here’s Rakul Preet’s post workout smoothie recipe:


  1. 2 cups homemade coconut milk
  2. 2 cups water
  3. 1 scoop whey protein powder
  4.  1 tbsp of flax seeds
  5. 1-2 elaichi banana (smaller variety)
  6.  1 pinch of cinnamon powder
  7.  1 pinch of cardamom powder
  8. 1 tsp honey (Optional)


  1. In a blending jar, pour coconut milk. Nutritionist Ganeriwal suggests replacing it with any nut milk of your choice.
  2. Now pour 2 cups of water into the jar.
  3. Add a scoop of whey protein powder.
  4. Take 1 tbsp of whole flaxseeds and add them to the jar.
  5. Slice 2 elaichi bananas and drop them into the jar.
  6. Blend everything into a smoothie.
  7. Pour the contents into a tall glass.
  8. Sprinkle a pinch of cardamom powder and cinnamon powder on top.
  9. Add a spoonful of honey for added sweetness.
