But while adopting a healthy diet, most people cut out herbs and spices from their diets, and consider them unhealthy for weight loss. But is that true? Well, that’s a myth! It also helps you remain satiated for a longer period of time. You can use it in tea, food preparations or you may add it to cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.

3. Guggul

Guggul is praised for its anti-inflammatory properties. It’s good for weight loss, because it contains a plant sterol known as guggulsterone that is said to promote weight loss by stimulating the body’s metabolism. 

4. Cumin

Drinking cumin water is one of the best ways to boost your metabolism. Soak two tablespoons of cumin seeds in water overnight, and boil the seeds in the morning. Filter it to remove the seeds and squeeze a half-cut lemon into this. Drink it on an empty stomach every morning for two weeks for quick weight loss.

6. Ginger

Ginger water mixed with lemon juice helps to detox and cleanse your body. It can prevent blood sugar levels from rising, especially after having a high-calorie sugar-rich meal. What’s more, it can enhance metabolism by producing more heat in the body.
