The heat is back! When summer arrives, the queen of ‘cooling drinks’, the good ol’ shikanji or lime water, becomes everyone’s go-to drink to quench their thirst and stay hydrated. But why just stick to one drink when you have many more options available out there? Well, we are here to suggest 5 other delicious hydrating drinks which can keep you energetic throughout the day!

HealthShots spoke to Dietitian Shivani Kandwal, Nutritionist, Diabetes Educator, Founder of Nutrivibes, to find some best and delish drinks to stay hydrated this summer.

Dietitian Kandwal explained that during the summer season, many minerals are lost from the body as a result of excessive perspiration, leading to dehydration. In such times, it is critical that we keep consuming water and/ or healthy liquid drinks to keep ourselves hydrated.
