This just in: Prince Charles tests positive for covid-19

We have news for all those who think rich can’t get coronavirus as they live in hygienic conditions. Prince Charles is found to be coronavirus positive.

Here’s some breaking news for you: Prince Charles has tested positive for coronavirus. We hope now you’ve finally got the memo that this pandemic can affect just about anyone–even royalty. 

Needless to say the entire world is in a frenzy right now. Though, thankfully he is in good health according to Clarence House.

Prince Charles, 71, was tested for the virus in Scotland, where he is with the Duchess of Cornwall, who tested negative.

Prince Charles is now in self-isolation
A spokesperson for Clarence House said: “In accordance with Government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland. The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing”.

Queen Elizabeth, 93, last week moved from Buckingham Palace to the Winsdor Castle, where she was joined by Prince Philip, 98, who was earlier in Sandringham. She, thankfully, remains safe.

Health officials in the UK have been bracing for a spike in deaths and cases in the coming week, with thousands of retired doctors, nurses and final-year medical students joining the National Health Service, which was already facing a severe shortage of staff before the crisis.

Please remember that coronavirus is spreads from one person to another, through tiny droplets released when someone sneezes or coughs. In Prince Charles’ case, his very public role could be to blame.

The official from Clarence House said that “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks”.
