Food can do wonders for your health, and when it comes to glowing beautiful skin — good food can have a great impact. It can give you clear skin, and an overall natural glow! So, how about knowing about some superfoods that can give you glowing skin?

Superfoods for glowing skin

1. Flaxseeds

These tiny shots of goodness are packed with alpha-linolenic acid, a type of essential fatty acid called omega-3 fatty acids. Flaxseeds contain antioxidants and lignans, which prevent fine lines and give you clear skin. They also tend to absorb moisture, so can pack the hydration for a longer duration and deal with dry skin.

2. Coenzyme Q10

Now, this vitamin-like substance can easily be found in some foods like organ meats, oily fish, berries, leafy greens, seeds, etc. CoQ10 is naturally produced in the body and is responsible for energy production in cells. But this production tends to decrease as we age. Consuming Coq10 rich foods help the skin cells rejuvenate by energy production, as well as promotes antioxidant action.

3. Green leafy vegetables

Leafy greens are rich in two major supernutrients that are essential for beautiful skin. These are vitamins C and E. Vitamin C promotes collagen production in the body and helps to boost skin elasticity. Vitamin E blocks free radicals, which tend to fasten the aging process. Its cleansing action also heals sunburns and lightens dark spots effectively.

4. Nuts

Taking about superfoods for skin, you definitely cannot miss nuts like almonds, walnuts, as well as peanuts. Almonds tend to keep dry skin at bay, especially since they are packed with vitamin E. Walnuts are rich in choline, omega-3, and omega-6 fatty acids, and even provide zinc and selenium as well. These are all known for promoting better skin!
