The world of fitness is abuzz with all kinds of workout routines, which spoils us for choice! But what’s important is to follow the advice of the right people, who do not just believe in looking good but are true advocates of physical and mental strength. One such person is celebrity instructor Yasmin Karachiwala, who is the favourite of some of the biggest B-town babes including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Vaani Kapoor, and many others. What we love the most about her is how she shares a sneak peek of her workouts on Instagram. Also, these exercises are all simple and effective at the same time!

Yasmin also believes in making her workouts fun, which is why in her recent Instagram post, she can be seen combining pilates and high-intensity interval training(HIIT) for a hardcore workout to kickstart her week. Although these are two different forms of exercise, they go well together. But how are they different? HIIT is all about combining high intensity and low intensity movements, and alternating between the two. Pilates focuses more on building strength and flexibility.

Here’s what she wrote in the post, “Power start your week with my pilates HIIT workout, where I add a little high intensity interval training to my pilates exercises to kickstart the week! Perform 3 rounds of 45 seconds each, take 15 seconds of active rest in between exercises and a full minute between rounds!.”

What are these exercises?

To help beginners embrace these moves, Yasmin made it a point to share a modified version. This way, they do not have to deprive themselves of the benefits in any way, and can do the exercises at their ease and comfort level.

She started with ‘crawl to triceps push up’, for which the modified version was simply to ‘crawl to kneeling triceps push up’. The other exercises included ‘all 4’s hover rotate, crab reaches, mermaid twist, rolling like a ball to jump up, among others’.

So ladies, what are you waiting for? Do these moves and get a killer bod!
