Raise your hands if you have actually given up on getting rid of all that extra fat on your thighs! We totally understand your pain, as cellulite isn’t really easy to toss. But we promise that if you do whatever we are about to suggest, then in a month or two, you will be able to get back in shape and lose some weight as well. What do we have in mind? Well, it’s the best weight loss exercise ever – so, say hello to interval squats.

You might not have heard much about interval squats, because not many people actually attempt it. You can either do it on a treadmill or even if you don’t have one, they are totally doable.

And you know what’s the best part? Well, there are two:

1. If you are looking to tone your lower body, then this one is a sure shot winner.

2. Also, if you are looking to transform your butt like an apricot, then also interval squats works like a magic pill.

Now, let’s learn how you can do interval squats

Doing it on a treadmill

If you are hitting the gym or have a treadmill at home, then you are sorted. To do an interval squat, all you have to do is run for two minutes at the speed of 10 km/hr. Once done running, get down off the machine and do 15 normal squats and 20 sumo squats. Now get back on that treadmill, and run for two minutes again and repeat the same.

Do 10 such sets to get rid of cellulite from your thighs.

Doing interval squats without a treadmill

Of course, most of us don’t have a treadmill at home, but never mind — because to compensate, we have on-the-spot running. So, this is what you have to do – do on-the-spot running for two minutes, and then do 20 normal squats and 25 sumo squats. Do 10 such sets.

Why interval squats are better than normal squats?

To be honest, this is a great way to tone your legs, because it revolves around high-intensity interval training. Also, in one go, you are doing cardio as well as strengthening your muscles.

The other great thing about interval squats is that when you squat right after doing cardio, your heart rate and body temperature are anyway on fire, which is why the impact of this exercise increases by many folds. Hence, you end up losing more calories than usual.

So if you’ve pledged to rip that cellulite apart from your thighs, then interval squats are the only thing that will help you reach that goal. Are you ready?
