It’s time to know why skipping is good for you. Let’s find out:
1. Improves heart rate

Did you know one of the best benefits of skipping rope? Well, it really helps with your heart health. When you perform skipping regularly, your heart performs more efficiently. You will also find yourself suffering less from shortness of breath, and that means you up your stamina too!

2. Tones your body

Apart from enhancing heart health, it tones your lower body so beautifully! Initially, you might face some soreness in your legs, because your muscles have been inactive for a long time. Just give them a couple of days to get used to it, and it will soon give you stronger muscles!

3. Aids in weight loss

If you’re looking to lose weight, then there’s nothing better than skipping. Did you know skipping rope for just 30 minutes can burn close to 300 calories. Isn’t that just brilliant? It is even beneficial for those who are beginners, because it lets you burn additional calories, without putting pressure on your joints. It’s safer than jogging or running that affects your knees in a major way.

4. Improves the skin

Always wanted the skin of your dreams? Well, exercise is all you need. Just skipping rope for even 15 minutes daily will ensure improved blood circulation in the body, thereby helping with a healthy glow. Trust us, you’ll be flooded with compliments!

5. Prevents osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a condition characterised by fragile bones, and that means it puts you at a higher risk of fractures. Bone mass goes down after the age of 35, and bone loss occurs more rapidly in women after menopause. Jumping rope helps to deal with all this, and more!

Keep an idea of your risk of weight-related issues.
