Celebrity fitness trainer, Namrata Purohit has outdone herself yet again! This time around, she’s responsible for making B-town beauties Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor break a sweat, during a high-octane HIIT session.

Having a gym buddy helps in more ways than one; after all, they serve as the perfect motivation on days when you want to lie around like a sloth. What’s more, they also make workouts more fun! Well, it looks like B-town beauties Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan have found the perfect gym-mate in each other. In Sara’s latest reel on Insta, they can be seen working out under the guidance of celebrity fitness trainer, Namrata Purohit.

Sara captioned this post as, “Go with the flow, steady and slow, kick high-squat low, that’s how you’ll get the golden glow.” Well, we couldn’t agree more.

Without a doubt, Namrata has designed this amazing HIIT routine for the ladies, which will help them shed all their holiday weight in no time.

Here’s the seven-step routine that Sara and Janhvi can be seen performing: 
1. Leg raise roll

This one is for your core. If you see the post, you will observe how both of them have lifted their bodies while doing it. Yes, this exercise will help you target your upper body, including your shoulders, arms, and traps. Plus, it will create more contraction in the core region.

If you are trying it out, do 25 leg rolls, both clockwise and anti-clockwise.

2. Side bends

As the name suggests, this one is for the sides. In this exercise, they have opened up their legs wide, placed their hands on their heads, and are bending side to side. This posture helps in working out the oblique muscles, due to which you can receive the maximum stretch. As your hands are placed on your head, it will help in holding the pose longer and target the muscle even better.

You can do 25 side bends in both the directions.

3. Dynamic lunges

Dynamic lunges work as a great compound exercise, since it is a combination of both cardio and muscle training. Just remember to keep your core flexed, don’t extend your leg too much, and keep breathing. You will be good to go!

You can do 25 dynamic lunges with each leg.

4. Leg raise roll, again!

The HIIT circuit again focuses on a coregasm, as both the divas repeat the first move again. Do 25 rolls, both ways and you are good to go.

5. Kickbacks

Now, this is an advanced version of kickback. Check out the post, and you’ll know both Sara and Janhvi are on all fours, and there is a resistance band around their calves to make the exercise more impactful. This one is especially for your butt.

Do 15 kickbacks with each leg.

6. Forward bends

Forward bends are super effective for your core and glutes. That’s because when you bend forward, your core muscle gets squeezed and when you lift your leg backwards, your glute muscles also contract. The dumbbells that both of them are holding will help them balance the pose properly, plus it will add more contraction to the whole move.

Do 15 forward bends with each leg.

7. One-leg squat

Doing a one-leg squat is no cakewalk, and you can see that on Sara’s face. She is forcing herself to smile, while trying to balance herself with the help of Janhvi. One-leg squats make the move much more targeted; that’s because your entire weight is on just one foot, so the impact automatically increases.

Wondering what if you don’t have a pal like Sara and Janhvi? Well, you can then take the help of a wall or a table. And if you have made up your mind of trying out this exercise, do at least 15 reps with each leg.
