We all rave looking at the sultry bodies of Bollywood celebs. But let’s face it:  staying fit and looking ravishing is their bread and butter. During this time of lockdown though we can’t help but wonder how they must be working out, now that the gyms are shut.

But where there’s a will, there’s a way. And Aashiqui 2 starlet Shraddha Kapoor knows how to work it out even when she’s at home. In her latest video on Instagram yesterday, she can be seen doing a terrace workout session.

The Bollywood actress can be seen running, doing squats and high-knees in the video-all of which make for a great cardio workout and also help tone legs.

Well, if you too are inspired by Shraddha’s workout sesh, then here are a few tips on how you can pull off these three exercises at home like a pro.

Don’t jog on your terrace, sprint!
Not everyone has the luxury of a huge terrace, but you can use whatever space you have. How’s that? Well, all you need to do is speed up. Instead of jogging slowly, you can do full-speed sprints. Do keep a stopwatch handy to time yourself. To start with, do a one-minute sprint and then go full throttle.

Make sure you do your squats properly
Your posture matters a lot when you do a squat. So ensure that your feet are straight and not diagonally facing. Don’t let your knees go ahead of your toes and keep your back straight. Keep your arms on your head or straight in front of your face for better balance, and go as deep as possible for better results.

Go as high as you can with high knees
High knees is one of the best cardio exercises there ever was. It doesn’t just focus on leg muscles but it also works on your core. If you watch Shraddha in this video you can see that she keeps her toes pointed, so follow that. Another thing to remember is to bring your knee as high as possible (at least at your chest level). Plus keep your core tight and if you don’t have enough space then you can do high knees on the spot as well.

So, there you go peeps take some inspiration from your Shraddha and stay fit at home.
