Shilpa shares her love for yoga with her fans by demonstrating asanas every Monday for some #MondayMotivation. This week, she took Instagram to share a video of herself performing Eka Pada Adho Mukha Svanasana (one-legged down dog pose) going into Dhanurasana (bow pose). According to her, these asanas will help us to start the week on the right and healthy note.
“After a rather busy week of continuous travel and work, it’s time to get into a healthy routine again. Aur woh, buss yoga se hi hoga! So, I practised the Eka Pada Adho Mukha Svanasana going into Dhanurasana,” Shilpa captioned her post.
Not just that, Shilpa also had something to share about the benefits of these yoga poses.
“It works on strengthening the ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, and wrist joints; helping in enhancing a range of motions. Moreover, apart from stretching the hamstring, hip flexors, and glutes; it also improves the alignment, body posture, and blood circulation,” she added.
Shilpa warned her fans that in case you suffer from high blood pressure or related issues, or have suffered an injury to the back, arms, or shoulders; then you must avoid practising these yoga asanas.
