Scroll through Instagram and you’ll find a whole club of Bollywood beauties who are giving us major fitness goals with their Pilates workouts. The newest babe to join this tribe is Kriti Kharbanda, who shared glimpses of her intense exercise session with celebrity fitness instructor, Yasmin Karachiwala.
Dressed in a black crop top and grey yoga pants, Kriti can be seen doing exercises in a variety of ways—right from using the ladder barrel to the Pilates reformer. And frankly, we can’t wait to move our bodies, after watching this video.
In the side bend over the ladder barrel, the Bollywood diva can be seen working out her torso, with her hands behind her head. The ladder barrel’s rounded surface helps the spine to support both backbend and forward bends. If you are looking to strengthen your spine, and at the same time, want to give your torso, shoulders, back and legs a good workout, then this exercise is what you must indulge in!
Next, she performed salute on the reformer, while sitting down on her knees and with her hands pulling the straps forward and backwards. This exercise helps with better posture, and also prevents injury by strengthening and activating the glutes.
Last but not the least, Kriti performed the swan on a ladder barrel. She can be seen standing on an elevated surface, and moving her body forward, while keeping her hands behind the head. This exercise not just enhances flexibility, but also strengthens the core.
