Recently, she uploaded a video on Instagram of herself stretching while being in her plane seat from a flight. Even a busy schedule cannot stop her from caring about her physical fitness and wellbeing as she proves that stretching can be done anytime and anywhere.
It is clear from her several Instagram posts that Malaika is serious about her fitness goals and she looks after her body vigorously. While she has shared several tips and workouts on yoga and callisthenics, this time she went above and beyond as we saw her stretching while being in a flight.
Malaika suggested that her fans and followers not let ‘time’ and ‘place’ be a hindrance and stretch whenever they want to and wherever they want to, as what is important is to take that first step.

In her post, Malaika starts by sideways toe touching, she then clasps her hands and extends her arms forward while bending, keeping her back straight. She finishes off by doing a neck stretch before coming back to the starting position.
The stretches suggested by Malaika are really useful as they can be performed while sitting. This is especially helpful for those who are working from home currently as sitting in one position for long hours can lead to back and shoulder pain and stress and weight gain.
