Benefits of yoga
1. Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility

If this is what’s on your mind, then yoga is the “perfect” exercise for you. It increases blood flow and warms up muscles, and at the same time, builds strength.

2. Helps with chronic back pain

Since yoga focuses on stretching the entire body, it also helps to alleviate back pain and enhances mobility. According to The American College of Physicians, yoga is a good treatment for chronic lower back pain.

3. It’s good for the heart

If you’re someone who is looking to improve overall health and well-being, yoga is the answer. It helps reduce stress levels and inflammation in the body, thereby enhancing your heart health.

4. It helps you relax and sleep better

Research suggests that a consistent bedtime yoga routine can help you feel relaxed, and prepare your body to fall asleep quickly. Moreover, it also improves the quality of sleep.

So ladies, get your yoga mats out and flex those muscles!
