Squats are a great exercise to tone and develop lower body muscles, especially your quadriceps and glutes. The open and close squat variation is part of the strength training exercises that can help strengthen and tone the muscles in your lower body.
The way Shilpa performed the open and close squats, it caused an incremental impact on the shoulders as well. Moreover, this movement can help to reduce the pain and increase the range of motion and function of your shoulders.
Shilpa, in her post suggested that this exercise improves your bodily speed and agility due to its dynamic movement. Moreover, this exercise helps in increasing mind and body coordination.
