She’s someone who shares her fitness stories on Instagram, and we love it! In fact, Sophie never makes her workouts boring; instead, she always adds so much fun to even the most mundane ones! Oh, and did you know this celeb loves doing a good Pilates workout? Yes, she and her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala often treat us to some of their amazing videos, and we just can’t have enough of it!

This time around, Sophie has shared a video, where she can be seen attempting certain Pilates moves, but can’t get them right. But the best part is she just doesn’t give up! Here’s what her caption reads, “The struggle is real but we never give up?????. Also, remember to laugh at your struggles, and learn from your failures. That’s when u win???.”

Check out the video for yourself:

Earlier, Yasmin had shared how Sophie has transitioned from a “history of multiple injuries like slip disc” to now being a better version of herself.

If you are someone who plans on taking up Pilates, here’s what you must keep in mind:

Therefore you need to focus on these five tips before you hit your first ever pilates sesh. So, join in to know:

1. Warm your body up

Make sure to warm up your body for a good 15-20 minutes before you start the workout. Make sure to include some basic stretches that engage all muscles in your body. This is critical to ensure that you do not end up with any injuries!

2. You could end up with soreness the next day

Just like any other exercise, you might feel sore the next day, when you start out. That’s because this workout engages various muscles of your body, including the trunk, hips, inner and outer thighs. Make sure to stretch your body properly, and then do the exercise!

BMI

Keep an idea of your risk of weight-related issues.

3. Know the equipment

Sure, Pilates is exciting but you need to understand the equipment before jumping on to the exercises. Do make sure your trainer takes you through all the basics, so that you don’t struggle to use the machines. A demo is always a good idea!
