No one can deny that SOTY 2 actress Ananya Panday stays fit but it is only now that fans are figuring out her secret: yoga! Ananya has proven time and again that she is extremely dedicated to her yoga practice. Be it strengthening her basics or trying out aerial yoga, it is clear that Ananya likes to take one yoga session at a time to get where she needs to be. This diligence has helped her get into some of the toughest asanas!
This time around, it is chakrasana! Yes, the back-bend pose can be extremely tough but Ananya managed to perform it after a lot of practice. She started out with assisted back-bending to get her body used to the pose and over time, improved her flexibility to perform it without any props.
Celebrity yoga instructor, Anshuka Parwani, used her Instagram account to appreciate Ananya’s discipline and shared with her followers the Bollywood diva’s transition through a carousel of four photos documenting this transition. In her caption, she wrote:
“Back-bending her way into the day is our power-girl @ananyapanday, transitioning from assisted to complete backbends using different props, improving her spine flexibility and mobility through Chakrasana.”
No wonder the Khaali Peeli actress worked so hard to get into this pose. The benefits are worth all the hard work! In the image shared by Anshuka, we can see Ananya using a footstool and a pair of yoga brick blocks for assistance initially before getting into the pose all by herself.
1. Doing so reduces the risk of injury
2. Your body will get used to certain difficult positions slowly but more effectively
So, ladies, you should aim big but instead of trying to reach the peak in a day, you should practice a little daily to make yourself ready for the final win! Ananya’s yoga practice proves that diligence can make anything possible.
