Dr Vijay D’silva is the director- Critical Care and Medical Affairs, Asian Heart Institute, Medical Director, Tata Mumbai Marathon. He has three decades of experience in emergency medicine and critical care and 20 years of experience in cardiac and cardiovascular fields. He is a pioneer in management of complex/ critical and VIP patients. He is a teacher, guide and examiner for postgraduate students. He was the Medical Director of Mumbai Marathon from 2004 to 2017. He also served the role during the Tata Mumbai Marathon from 2018 to 2024.
