Dr Sanil Sinhasan is a consultant psychiatrist at SRV Hospitals – Chembur. He completed his M.B.B.S. degree from Rural Medical College, Loni, and went on to undertake a one-year internship at K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai. His dedication to the field led him to pursue an M.D. in Psychiatry from TN Medical College Nair Hospital, where he received comprehensive training. Following his post-graduation, Dr Sinhasan served as a Specialty Medical Officer at Shatabdi Hospital, Govandi, and further honed his skills during a two-year tenure as a Senior Registrar in a government set-up. Dr Sinhasan is not only committed to clinical practice but also actively engaged in research. He has conducted studies on psychosis, presented issues related to Tuberculosis in collaboration with Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF), and explored scientific aspects of mood disorders. He has undertaken a certificate course on Dementia from the University of Tasmania and conducted lectures on various topics, including dementia management, for BMC and various organisations.
