Dr Meet Kumar is the Clinical Director of Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant, at Marengo Asia Hospitals. He is a highly experienced Hematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) specialist. He has performed more than 700 bone marrow transplants, including autologous, allogeneic, matched unrelated, and haplo-identical transplants.
Dr Kumar earned his MBBS and MD from Jamnagar, Gujarat, and his DM in Clinical Hematology from NRS Medical College, Kolkata. He completed a fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata, and received specialist training in BMT and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CART) Cell Therapy at Kings College, London.
His accolades include the ‘Hisar Gaurav’ and ‘Global Award’ for emerging Hematologists. He serves as an executive member of the Indian Society of Hematology & Blood Transfusion and holds memberships in other notable hematology societies, including the American Society of Hematology, Bengal Society of Hematology, and Delhi Society of Hematology. Dr. Kumar has published over 20 research papers in esteemed national and international journals.
