Dr Austin Fernandes is a Psychiatrist with more than 10 years of experience in the field. He has completed his MBBS from KEM Hospital in Mumbai and thereafter gone ahead to complete his MD Psychiatry from INHS ASVINI (Indian Navy). He has had experience in working at LTMMC Sion Hospital, KEM Hospital, GTB Sewri Hospital, St Elizabeth’s Hospital and Masina Hospital. During his tenure at GTB Sewri he has been appreciated for bringing down the suicide rate to nil and improving the mental health of the patients already suffering from chronic illness. He has a keen interest in research and has many publications to his credit.
