The researchers found that two weeks of daily consumption of two and a half cups of grapes helped increase resilience to sunburn. For the study, the team enrolled 29 volunteers who were given whole grape powder (2 1/4 cups of grapes every day) for fourteen days. The researchers compared the reaction of subjects to UV light before and after they had consumed grapes for two weeks. It was found that one-third of the patients showed UV resistance after consuming grapes.
