But did you know these seeds also offer a plethora of skincare benefits? Flax seeds are rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidants as well as fibre, and greatly moisturize and nourish your skin.

They have multiple uses and work like magic on your skin. Because these seeds are a powerhouse of nutrients and micronutrients, they can give your skin a healthy glow, making it clear and bright in a short span of time.

Here’s what flax seeds can do for your skin:
1. Adds a healthy glow to your face

Is it still your dream to achieve glowing skin? Flax seeds can do wonders to brighten the tone of your skin. It has antioxidants and a high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids that can lighten scars, making your skin look more smooth and radiant.

It not only tightens the pores but also replenishes skin completely. Thus, it is a complete skin rejuvenation product.

DIY method to prepare a flax seed face mask
  1. Mix flax seed powder with water to form a gel. 
  2. Apply the gel on the face and problem areas, leaving it to dry for at least 15 minutes. 
  3. Once it dries, wash it off with water and pat dry. 

The skin on your face should feel tight and firm. The flax seeds work in reducing the size of open pores on the face by reducing the secretion of excess oil.
