Diwali festivities can take a toll on our skin! After all, the days of cleaning, binge eating oily foods and sweets, wearing make-up everyday for long hours, change in season, skipping skincare routines, and pollution will leave some impact! Now that the festive season is wrapping up, it’s time to take a break from everything and completely detox your skin.

HealthShots reached out to renowned dermatologist Dr Ajay Rana to find out effective ways. He says, “Diwali resonates with brightness, radiance, and happiness all around. It becomes important to engage in the maintenance of skin post-Diwali because our skin goes through a lot during this time of the festival season.” And that’s why post-Diwali, we need to take extra care of our skin and do the most to rewind the negative effects of Diwali on it.
